Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026
You pay monthly for Laundry Manager, you can stop whenever you like, and the records you put in belong to you — not to us.
1. What these terms cover
These terms are the agreement between you — the business subscribing to Laundry Manager — and the operator named at the bottom of this page. They apply when you create an account, use the software, or let your staff use it.
If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to commit that business to these terms.
2. What the service is
Laundry Manager is software for running a laundry business: taking orders, printing and sending receipts, tracking payments and balances, managing branches and staff, and the optional extras your plan includes — such as messaging, inventory, expenses, delivery tracking, and a public website for your business.
We provide the software. We do not launder clothes, handle your customers' garments, or take part in the transactions you record in it. Disputes between you and your customers are yours to resolve.
3. Your account and your staff
You are responsible for everyone you give access to, and for what they do in the software. Add staff only for people who should see your business's records, remove them when they leave, and give each person their own sign-in rather than sharing one.
Keep your sign-in details private. Tell us promptly if you think someone has gained access they shouldn't have.
4. Free trial
New accounts start with a free trial; its length is shown on the signup page. You do not need to pay to start it, and we do not take card details up front. When the trial ends, the app locks until you subscribe — but nothing you entered is deleted, and subscribing restores it exactly as you left it.
5. Fees, renewal and cancellation
Subscription prices are shown in naira on the pricing page and on your billing screen, and are charged monthly in advance through Paystack. Card and bank details are handled by Paystack on their own payment pages — we never see or store them.
Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel yourself at any time from Billing in your admin dashboard — no email or phone call required.
When you cancel, the next payment stops immediately and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the app locks and your data is retained as described in our Privacy Policy. Subscribing again restores access.
We do not give pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a month, since you keep the service for the whole period you paid for. If we have charged you in error, tell us and we will put it right.
If a renewal payment fails, we do not cut you off straight away — your account enters a short grace period with a warning on screen so you can update your payment method.
We may change prices, but not in the middle of a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change affects you.
6. Your data belongs to you
The orders, customers, payments, prices and records you enter are yours. We store and process them so we can provide the service to you, and for no other purpose. We do not sell them, and we do not share one business's records with another.
Where we publish comparisons or averages across businesses, the figures are aggregated and anonymous — never your individual records, and never anything that identifies your business or your customers.
7. Your customers' information
When you store your customers' names and phone numbers in Laundry Manager, you decide what is collected and why. We handle that information on your instructions.
That means you are responsible for having the right to hold it and to contact those customers. In particular, if you use the messaging features to send SMS or WhatsApp messages, you must have their agreement to be contacted and must stop when they ask you to. Do not use Laundry Manager to send unsolicited marketing.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to defraud anyone;
- attempt to reach another business's data, or to get around the limits of your plan;
- probe, overload or interfere with the service, or automate access in a way that degrades it for others;
- resell or rebrand the software as your own without a written agreement with us;
- upload content to your public site or campaigns that is illegal, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights.
9. Services we rely on
Laundry Manager is built on third-party services — including payment processing, sign-in, hosting and database infrastructure, and, where you enable them, SMS gateways, email delivery and AI features. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own terms, and an outage at one of them can affect the service.
Where a feature uses credentials you supply — such as your own SMS gateway or your own Paystack keys — charges from that provider are between you and them.
10. Availability
We work to keep the service running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some parts of the counter keep working without internet and sync when the connection returns; that is a convenience, not a guarantee.
We may change or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend an account for non-payment, or where use breaches these terms — for example fraud, abuse, or attempts to reach another business's data. Except in serious cases we will contact you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Suspension locks access; it does not delete your records. You can close your account at any time by cancelling and asking us to delete your data.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits or goodwill, or for losses arising from your own records being wrong or incomplete. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
You are responsible for checking that the figures you rely on — daily takings, balances, reconciliations — are correct for your business.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
